Should I include + or 0 in the number?

No. wa.me needs digits only with the country code, without +, spaces or a leading 0. The tool removes them for you.

Does the QR code expire?

No. The QR code simply contains your wa.me link, so it works as long as the number is on WhatsApp.

Is my number stored anywhere?

No. The link and QR code are generated in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers.

What is a wa.me link?

wa.me is WhatsApp's official short link. Opening https://wa.me/919876543210 starts a chat with that number without the customer saving it as a contact.

Adding ?text= with an encoded message prefills the chat box, so the customer only has to tap send.
